Where My Online Writing Journey Began
Long before my published novels found their way into readers' hands, I was sharing stories online with fellow fans. Beginning in 2002, fanfiction gave me a place to explore characters I loved, experiment with romance and humor, and—most importantly—connect with readers.
More than two decades later, these stories and the hundreds of reviews readers left behind are still part of my writing history. Rather than move the stories and lose that wonderful history, I'm keeping them where they began.
Come visit my little corner of FanFiction.net and see where some of the storytelling started.

Read on FanFiction.netEvery writer starts somewhere.
For me, some of those early miles were traveled through fanfiction. Writing these stories gave me the opportunity to practice storytelling, develop characters, experiment with romance and humor, and hear directly from readers.
Those readers left hundreds of reviews—encouraging me, making me laugh, telling me exactly what they thought, and sometimes demanding another chapter.
That connection with readers helped fuel a love of storytelling that continues today in my original novels.
I'm leaving these stories exactly where they grew up, reviews and all.
